Launching a new brand & website for a technology consultancy
Chromeworx was a fresh face in Australian IT. No brand recognition meant it would be difficult to build social proof and trust quickly.
They needed a new visual identity and website that could immediately make waves in the Chrome OS and Google IT market.
Functionally, the Chromeworx team needed a website that offered flexibility and control for their marketing team to operate independently of developers.
We researched, strategized, and designed the new Chromeworx visual identity, supported by a brand new website with a design system and WordPress + Elementor integration.
Inspiration & mindmapping
Before we began the core design phase, it was crucial for us to establish the Chromeworx brand strategy. This entailed identifying their target audience, business objectives, and competitors.
To generate ideas for the logo and visual language, we created a mindmap of relevant keywords. These keywords were the building blocks for the visual language of the brand and formed the basis of the logo design.
We arrived at a concept for the logo that captured the essence of the Chromeworx brand. The logo combined the letter “C” for Chromeworx, a box to represent their “Out of the Box” solutions, and the infinity symbol to represent their seamless customer service and delivery.
Once we established the creative direction and completed some initial sketches, we created the final pixel perfect logo. We were concious to ensure that the logo would be suitable at both small and large scales, and compatible with any brand asset Chromeworx required, thus better future-proofing their brand.
Print media & mockups
The finalised logo became a great basis for the visual language, providing us with many creative pathways to explore for their brand assets.
From this we designed a set of key visuals, mock layouts, print and digital media assets which all aligned with the versatile Chromeworx visual language and identity.
Website and marketing platform
We designed and built a new website for Chromeworx from the ground up, being mindful of how they intended to use the site to drive content marketing and other lead generation strategies.
Our development team integrated the website into a custom-built WordPress CMS + Elementor environment, providing their marketing team with complete control to create new pages, copy and re-order sections with ease, with little need for developer support.
After 6 months of collaboration we successfully launched the new Chromeworx brand and website integrated into a custom-built WordPress + Elementor CMS environment. With the launch and continuous optimisations we managed to increase website sessions, conversion rates and increase time spent on the website.
